Quality diffrences - Memory foam

There are many quality differences between the sorts of memory foam on the market today.
It is important that the foam does'nt feel greasy, yet it does'nt has to feel dry either.

Temperature reaction is also important. The Slow-motion foam should
become softer when it is just above the external body temperature (27° C). Some sorts hardly react to temperature, which means that an important part of the comfort is lost. By blowing on the foam with your mouth, you can test if the foam reacts to the temperature by becoming softer.
There is also Slow-motion foam on the market that reacts too heavily to temperature changes. This gives various problems, especially in
the colder months of the year.

The weight of the foam also says something about the quality of the foam.
In general you could say: the lighter the material, the airier it is and
therefore the better. When the foam weighs relatively heavy, it often
becomes too warm.

We advise to use memory foam with a density not higher than 50/55 kg/m³.
That is the same density as we use in our mattresses.

The images of memory foam manufacturer shown on this page are all high quality visco-elastic memory foam sorts.
